We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with our data scientists and analysts to ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our data pipelines and processes. If you have a strong background in server, spark, Apache Hive, and data warehousing, along with a passion for analytics and problem-solving, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines
- Building and optimizing data models and schemas for analytics purposes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
- Implementing data quality checks and ensuring data integrity
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data processing and performance
- Writing shell scripts for automation of data processes
- Writing complex SQL queries to analyze large datasets
- Performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of server technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Hive
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
- Familiarity with analytics tools and frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
