Our client is looking for a mid-level Data Engineer with a background in building scalable, high-quality, and sophisticated data models and visualizations to drive actionable insights. The Data Scientist will contribute the Data Platform using the Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, SSAS, Power BI, Azure Synapse). This person will work with a team of experienced business intelligence analysts, project managers, developers, and business users. The ideal candidate is self-driven with a “get it done” mentality and a passion for helping organizations solve complex business and technology problems with data and process optimization.
Higher education experience preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to follow standard methodologies for troubleshooting and development
- Solid communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work as a team member
- Ability to recommend enterprise solution options for data and analytical needs and provide technical advice where needed to support companywide objectives, goals, and resolve problems
- Partner with other senior members of the team on data platform and analytical infrastructure design and implementation
- Build, and support prescriptive and predictive data models at an enterprise level
- Analyze and maintain business data to identify correlations among the various data points
- Interact with the business to understand changes in processes, the data implications, and identify potential reporting and analytic modifications
- Map and trace data from source to target systems to solve business or system problems
- Deliver, and support enterprise data sets
- Develop, and maintain complex dashboards and visualizations using Power BI from multiple data sources
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and explain the correlations between and among data sets.
- Provide data support to cross-functional IT teams
- Experience in incremental data loads and working with hash keys a plus
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning modeling (including Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, and Conversational A.I.) a plus
