Mechanical Engineer for Aerospace Simulation Company (must have airplane knowledge)
Must Be: US Citizen, have reliable transportation & a drivers license, be able to hit the ground running in AutoCAD & Solidworks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components using FEA (Finite Element Analysis), MATLAB, and Simulink.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of mechanical systems into larger projects.
- Fabricate prototypes and conduct experiments to validate design concepts.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation using drafting software.
- Perform system design and analysis, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and vibration analysis.
- Utilize CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for precision manufacturing.
- Develop and implement control systems using LabView.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in FEA, MATLAB, and Simulink for mechanical system analysis and simulation.
- Experience in fabricating prototypes and conducting experiments to validate design concepts.
- Proficient in drafting software for creating detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
- Knowledge of system design principles, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and vibration analysis.
- Familiarity with CNC machines for precision manufacturing.
- Ability to develop and implement control systems using LabView.
