Aviation Training Instructor - Medical/Fire/Emergency

Position Overview:

Aircare FACTS Training is the industry leader in emergency procedures training for business aviation. We have been in the business of training pilots, flight attendants, and flight engineers for over 40 years.

We have an opportunity for a contract, Ft Lauderdale based Aviation Safety Training Instructor. Must have a background in medical or emergency training. This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor position.

Job Duties Include:

·      Provide classroom instruction and practical drills in aviation safety and emergency procedures.

·      Administration of training materials, attendance, presentations, evaluations, and testing.

·      Assist with assembly/disassembly of training equipment daily as required.

·      Basic maintenance on training equipment as required.

·      Periodic training manual/procedures review and revisions.

·      Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

·      Current American Heart Association BLS/Heartsaver Instructor

·      3+ years EMT, Paramedic, Firefighter or other emergency responder experience.

·      Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      FAR Part 135, 121, or military aviation experience highly preferred.

·      Knowledge of basic aviation regulations or procedures preferred.

·      Previous teaching or instructing experience a plus.

·      Ability to travel a plus.

·      Working knowledge in Microsoft and OSX Applications.
