### Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flight Instructor to join our team as a Cirrus Certified Flight Instructor based in St. Augustine, FL. As a Cirrus Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for providing an industry-leading learner centric flight training for the achievement of private pilot certificates, instrument and other advanced certifications and ratings. To meet the demands of discerning customers who look for the absolute best, training is provided in iconic Cirrus Aircraft airplanes. This is an exciting opportunity to share your passion for aviation and help shape the next generation of pilots while providing a concierge level of service. This role could lead to a Chief Instructor leadership position.
### Duties
Include but not limited to:
- Conduct flight training sessions in accordance with established curriculum and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Provide ground instruction on topics such as aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Demonstrate proper flying techniques and procedures during flight lessons
- Supervise and evaluate student performance during flight training sessions
- Assist in the development and improvement of training materials and curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, training activities, aircraft maintenance tracking and wiping down aircraft after flights to maintain a high level of service
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures during all flight operations
- Carefully moving aircraft in and out of hangars - detailing all aircraft to include managed aircraft and prep for owner flights.
### Requirements
- Hold a valid Flight Instructor Certificate (CFII)
- Minimum of 400 hours of total flight time with Cirrus flight time preferred
- Strong knowledge of aviation theory, aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with high level professionals and executives
- Organizational skills to effectively manage student schedules, training materials and aircraft maint. tracking
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Prior experience as a CFII is preferred

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
