SUMMARY
The AV Event Specialist is responsible for managing, planning, coordinating and executing high-touch, VIP events for professional staff. The AV Event Specialist provides exceptional customer service for these high profile, technology-enabled events that require interacting and guiding senior staff, upper management and external clients with best practices and recommendations.

The AV Event Specialist is responsible for managing, planning, coordinating and executing high-touch, VIP events for professional staff. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary point of contact for managing, coordinating, planning, and executing all onsite or offsite, live or virtual, VIP or high-touch special event requests including all levels of the AV process (pre-event, event and after-event activities and demands).
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding the needs of our internal and external clients and provide recommendations to leadership on how best to achieve their virtual event needs based on subject matter expertise.
- Schedule and support events including: webcasts, web conferences, webinars, multi-point video events and any audiovisual (AV) enabled meetings.
- Create documentation for agreed-upon logistics and service levels for events and provide event planning and status updates. Follow up after events to collect feedback.
- Edit, publish, maintain and upload final webcasts, webinars or approved media.
- Conduct basic video production tasks related to managing camera operations, sound reinforcement, lighting, staging and video editing, as needed. Assist with shoots, as needed.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of audiovisual technology installed in meeting rooms throughout the firm.
- Stay up-to-date on current technologies and trends associated with presentation and event applications.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to increase department efficiencies in processes and operations.
- Ability to work additional hours and be flexible with schedule, as needed.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in multimedia, photography, video production, audiovisual, mass communications or a related field
- 3+ years of experience supporting Video Conferencing and AV technologies such as Webex Meetings, Webex Events, On24 Events, VBrick REV, Jabber, Bluejeans, Adobe Connect or similar.
- Experience with white glove customer support in a professional environment
- Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
- No travel to start, but once it's safe to, this person will travel to all the major events, which could be anywhere in the world
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, climb ladders and set up physical equipment
