Automotive Title & Ap Specialist

We care for thousands of every year because of the dedicated, committed, and professionally trained members of the Yoder Family of Companies.--What would you do?--The automotive Title & AP Clerk is responsible for handling registration paperwork like titles and license plates, filing tax documents, and occasionally sending out bills or contracts for signing. They are responsible for closing Purchase Orders (PO's), inputting invoices, reaching out to vendors for invoices/statements, researching PO's, doing AP special research projects, and paying bills in assigned software. They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.What will you be responsible for?Title DutiesPrepares tax and title documents and submits all legal transfer documents to the DMV.CAPS all deals once finalized and reports to Payroll.Reviews & reconciles assigned schedules & customer accounts.Receives & processes paperwork from F&I to obtain payment from financial institution.Assists Titles Lead with assigned title functions.AP DutiesAssists Accounts Payable Lead with assigned AP functions.Scan invoices, obtain approvals, code invoices accurately and timely, recording of all AP transactions and payments.Uses company software to look up POs/invoices for our companies and compares invoices to accounting software to adjust as needed. Reconciliation of vendor and credit card statements for paymentsOther DutiesBacks up all positions, assisting with their duties, in the office during vacation periods, illness, or when the office is in a peak load situation.Assist with other duties as assigned.Do you have the necessary education & experience?High school diploma or equivalent is required.Associate degree, equivalent formal accounting training, or work experience in accounting is preferred. 1-3 years--of accounts payable-- or general accounting experience.1 year of general office experience. 1-3 years of Automotive Title experience.What are the total Rewards?CULTURE!!!Base compensation, Hourly/ non-Exempt: $17.50-$21.55----DOE.--Competitive vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, profit sharing, 401(k) employer-paid life insurance, early childhood education center, health, dental, vision, and pet insurance, and company discounts for full-time positions.PM21Powered by JazzHRCompensation details: 17.5-21.55PI1fdba5040183-25660-33978537
