Role Overview:
We are looking for a committed and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. The successful candidate will oversee all service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving the efficiency and profitability of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the service department.
Lead a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
Ensure high-quality repair and maintenance services for customers.
Develop strategies to boost productivity and profitability.
Address customer inquiries, resolving issues and complaints.
Oversee service warranty claims processing and funding.
Monitor inventory and manage parts and supplies ordering.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the sales department for a seamless customer experience.
Train and mentor staff, promoting a positive work environment.
Manage the department's budget and financial planning.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Service Manager in an Automotive Service department.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics, and technology.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
Proficiency in service department software and tools. Mitchell 1 Software.
Valid driver’s license.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional Automotive Service management certification is advantageous.
Bilingual abilities, especially proficiency in Spanish, are highly valued and beneficial.
