Drive Automotive Services Owns 40+ Full Service Automotive Repair Facilities
Location: [Various locations in the greater Phoenix market]
Are you a seasoned automotive professional with a track record of successful leadership? Drive Automotive Services, a well-established automotive repair chain, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Advisor to help lead our team to new heights! We are looking for a candidate that can be ready to be a General Manager for an opening as it may become available.
Responsibilities for AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISORS
-Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have, by phone or in person.
-Perform vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns,
to enable the technician to properly diagnose and service the vehicle.
-Consult with customer on applicable service specials.
-Prioritize required services, and be prepared to provide options upon request.
-Document declines for services and ask for follow-up on future service considerations.
-Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes in a timely manner.
-Remain involved with return of vehicle to customer upon completion,
to ensure all customer concerns can be addressed.
-Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether in phone or in person.
-Spend quality time building relationship with the customer.
-Know the product well enough that to answer characteristic and operational questions, regarding the customer's vehicle.
-Perform opening, closing and operational procedures and bi-weekly timekeeping procedures, in the absence of the store's General Manager.
-Provide timely communication with management regarding applicable needs.
-Record and report any damage to customer/company property immediately.
-Other store duties as assigned.
Looking towards the future, as the Automotive General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the entire automotive team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality service, and adherence to company standards.
Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability.
Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of automotive professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Vendor and Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective access to parts and services.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automotive General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of automotive operations, including service, repairs, and customer service.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial management.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a leadership role within the automotive industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automotive management software.
Valid driver's license.
