Qualifications:
- Quality communication skills with customers and team members through a variety of communication formats.
- Strong customer-service mindset before, throughout, and after a sale.
- Great attitude and punctuality with a drive for personal and team success
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurance standards
- No prior sales experience required
Responsibilities
- Present yourself as a professional in appearance, knowledge, and attitude
- Communicate with managers daily for guidance on current opportunities, market trends, individual performance, sales strategies and monthly forecasting.
- Manage a large customer database through CRM utilization, both before and after the sale, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Maintain product certification and demonstrate the product expertise necessary to consult with prospective customers on finding the perfect vehicle.
- Perform high-quality, professional, ethical, and customer-oriented presentation and demonstrations of new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Exhibit consultative skills to expertly assist customers by asking proper questions, listening attentively to their responses, and utilizing critical thinking ability and knowledge regarding available products and inventory availability.
- Drive and develop new business through personal marketing, referrals from previous clients, and dealer-provided leads.
- Properly utilize all programs and tools available to track active prospect status, follow-up with prior customers, create additional opportunities, and get customized training specialized to advance your career.
- Acknowledge and comply with all federal, state and local laws that govern Automotive Sales.
- Understand and follow all rules and procedures in accordance with the employee handbook and established dealership policies.
