Join our dynamic team and play a key role in launching our remodeled dealership. We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Automotive Sales Consultant. This position will assist clients from the beginning to the end of purchasing and owning New & Pre-Owned Vehicles.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, previous sales experience in the automotive industry (Volvo preferred), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize cutting-edge technology to enhance customer interactions and streamline the sales process.
- Prospect for new and current clients.
- Develops buyers by building a strong rapport with customers and working to achieve a long-lasting relationship.
- Qualifies buyers by understanding buyers' requirements and interests; Suggests and matches interests to various models.
- Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating prices; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collecting payment; delivers automobiles.
- Work in partnership with the F&I Team to resolve any outstanding contracts or incomplete deals.
- Ability to meet, maintain, and/or exceed sales goals monthly.
- Provide sales management analysis by completing reports.
- Have continuous knowledge of products and market trends.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Automotive Sales with a successful track record
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Preferred
- Must be a self-starter and proactive
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals
- Proficient in computer technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
