Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Automotive Body Shop Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere at our Body Shop. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs and services
- Collect customer information and enter it accurately into the system.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Provide information to customers regarding services, pricing, and estimated completion times.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with the technicians and other staff members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including MS Office
- Familiarity with automotive terminology and repair processes is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
