Body Shop Estimator

Martin Dealerships is looking for a Body Shop Estimator. The right candidate will have the ability to learn new technology and have a strong background in customer service. The day-to-day duties of this role include preparing estimates, maintaining a timely repair schedule, and developing a proper repair plan for vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide top notch customer experience and repair process from start to finish
• Prepare estimates in accordance with vehicle guidelines and repair procedures
• Provide customer initial estimate and supplemental estimates as needed during the repair stages
• Create a proper repair plan for each vehicle based on the repairs needed
• Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies as soon as possible
• Provide information for any questions the customers may have
• Quality control the job during the repair process
• Meet or exceed customer expectations when the vehicle is being delivered back to the customer
• Track claim money before the vehicle is picked up as needed
• Make sure files are closed and final billed for payment as necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Must have great organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of CCC estimate software a plus
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
