SalaryA successful applicant will assist the office staff and auto body technicians in a number of ways including, but not limited to: checking vehicles in, organizing parts and tools, helping to maintain a clean work environment and helping to wash and clean vehicles prior to delivery back to the customer. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to learn and grow. Whether you are looking to be an estimator, technician, mechanic, or painter, this is an opportunity to gain experience and choose a career path. This position includes a little bit of everything. Some of the tasks include: moving vehicles, cleaning and organizing the shop, helping the parts department, some disassembly of vehicles (after training), running errands, helping detail shop when backed up, and taking out the trash. Applicants should be punctual, detail oriented, organized, work well with others, and have a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians, estimators, and management in a variety of tasks.
- General facility maintenance and cleanup.
- Disassemble and inspect vehicles for additional or hidden damages.
- Assist in repair planning.
- Learn to adjust, replace, and repair vehicle panels.
- Read and understand estimate/repair order.
