Automotive Biller

The Taverna Collection and Palm Beach Mitsubishi are looking for an Automotive Biller to work out of our shared accounting office! We pay $21-28/hr depending on experience, plus great benefits including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance.

Job Summary:

Processes car deals. Verifies costs for the accounting department, including the costs of reconditioning and aftermarkets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Post all vehicle sales (New, Used and Wholesales) to the General Ledger.

Posts transactions to the General Ledger such as journal vouchers and aftermarkets.

Reconciles aftermarket statement monthly.

Processes all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts.

Processes payments for aftermarkets.

Processes all warranty cancellations for customers/repos. Issues reimbursement checks to customers and Financial Institutions.

Bills out all dealer trades.

Submits contracts to the appropriate Financial Institute.

Submit all required rebates to manufacturer.

Prepares checks for all trade payoffs, referral fees, or any other refunds requested in deals.

Submits sales staff weekly commission sheets to payroll, no later than Tuesday afternoon.

Reconciles Schedules monthly (New and Used Vehicle inventory, Vehicle Receivables, Factory Incentives, Reserves and Aftersales).

Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.

Communicate with coworkers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Education and/or Experience Required:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position works in an air-conditioned space. This position requires working with computers for many hours each day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Requires a current Florida driver’s license and an acceptable driving record as determined by management.

Pay: $20.53 - $28.16 per hour
