Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be highly self motivated and possess strong phone etiquette, are technically proficient, with previous sales experience (in any industry), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills.
Duties
- Manage internet leads via phone, text & email
- Generate appts from sales leads & convert them into sold deals
- Identify and assess customers needs to achieve sales
- Build rapport quickly through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information
- Meet sales targets, call handling quotas, monthly goals
- Keep detailed and accurate notes of customer interactions
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Above and beyond attitude needed to engage customers
- Excellent time management with a sense of urgency
- Demonsrate vehicles with enthusiasm communicating features / benefits
He or she must be highly self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
Desired Skills
- Proven Customer Support, Customer Service Representative, or Internet Sales experience
- Internet Sales / Call Center experience highly desired
- Strong attention to detail, ability to type 40-60 wpm
- Experience with various software platforms and communications (phone, email, text).
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone, text, email contact handling skills, and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer oriented with ability to adapt/respond to multiple types of personalities / temperaments
- Excellent oral / written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and remain professional at all times
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision.
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
Computer proficient and internet skills
Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
Responsibilities
He or she presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale and maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business
Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies
Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits all other rules of the road are followed
Helps facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
Maintains accurate sales documentation
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
Performs other duties as assigned

$53,000.00 - $116,000.00 per year
The Sales Consultant Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $16.00/hr. The position may also pay bonus compensation which is based on the amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.
