Auto Collections/Customer Service Representative

Chacon Autos is a reputable and well established, family-owned, Texas-based business that has been around for over 60 years.
We sell pre-owned vehicles to people that are looking for: high-quality, low-mileage cars, trucks and SUVs - many of which are still under a factory warranty. We offer flexible credit terms for people with good credit, bad credit or no credit. We are the finance company for the majority of the vehicles we sell. Job duties:

-Calling accounts that have been deemed difficult by collections team after their unsuccessful attempts.

- Call customers using all resources following FDCPA guidelines regarding payment of car loan account balances.

- Create innovative payment schedules and effectively communicate them to customers, while providing excellent customer service for customers regarding their accounts.

-Keep and organize account log and handle all tasks related to repossessions.

- Call the escalated accounts list.

-Fill in for other collections team members during their absence.

- Assign repos to repo company locally and out of state.

-Handle incoming calls from customers that have been repossessed.

-Explain the redeeming process to customers and assists when applicable.

-Sometimes assisting in checking cars in* and assist customers picking up personal property.

-Assist with impounds when needed.

*Taks requires being outside at times

Requirements:

- 5 years+ Auto collections experience

- Dependable, self-motivated, organized

Work schedule is 5 days a week. Monday - Friday (9:30 am to 6 pm) and Saturdays* (9 am to 5 pm) with a day off during the week and *one Saturday off a month.
