Responsibilities - Body Shop Technician:
- Disassemble and assemble vehicles for repair
- Repair and replace a variety of vehicle parts
- Perform diagnostic tests to ensure that all issues have been detected and resolved
- Follow all workplace safety requirements
- Prepare cars to be painted by sanding and refinishing them
- Scuff and sand new parts
- Cleanup work area and dispose of waste
Qualifications/Requirements – Body Shop Technician:
- Automotive Service, Collision, or Body Shop experience required
- I-CAR or GM experience is a plus!
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to utilize a wide variety of vehicle maintenance and repair tools
- Basic technological and mathematical proficiency
- Must have own tool set
- Excellent problem-solving skills required
- Must be focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, have good vision, be able to lift Up to 50lbs., and have the ability to walk long distances
- Valid state driver's license
