Contract: 6 Month Contract (Extension likely OR direct hire)
Schedule: Second Shift (Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM)
Compensation: $20/HR

Description:
- The Vehicle Technician role is tailored for individuals with expertise in automotive painting and Auto Body repair, focusing on maintaining, repairing, and enhancing various types of vehicles.
- You will be responsible for advanced diagnostic analysis, demonstrating proficiency in electrical and mechanical tasks, and meticulously assembling vehicle components.
- Your experience with automotive painting and Auto Body work will be crucial in addressing complex issues during vehicle maintenance and repair.
- To excel in this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive painting and Auto Body repair.
- Additionally, a technical degree may be required to ensure you have the necessary knowledge and expertise.
- Working effectively without direct supervision, you will play a vital role in meeting defined schedules and implementing improvements to enhance vehicle performance and aesthetics.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced diagnostic analysis of vehicles, utilizing schematics, diagrams, and system knowledge
- Demonstrate strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude, with a focus on automotive painting and Auto Body repair
- Utilize extensive experience in automotive mechanics and electrical systems
- Work with various vehicles such as autos, trucks, military vehicles, or boats, focusing on their exterior appearance and functionality
- Conceptualize and prototype automotive painting and Auto Body devices including armor, switch panels, wire harnesses, suspensions, or lights
- Employ above-average problem-solving skills and innovation in automotive painting and Auto Body repair tasks
- Assemble products to meet defined schedules while ensuring high-quality finishes
- Monitor needs and metrics of assigned areas, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance vehicle aesthetics and functionality
- Train and lead junior staff in daily activities, taking on a lead role in training entry-level staff
- Monitor schedules and conduct tasks to maintain schedules
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years strong experience in automotive painting and Auto Body repair
- Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
- Team player and detail-oriented
