Job Description
We are looking for someone that has leadership and team-building experience in a production-style setting. The ideal candidate would have experience in quality control, customer relations, management and working well with customers to provide exceptional service. This position does require providing leadership to employees, providing excellent quality of work to meet the demands of customers, and maintaining the high standards of our shop image.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee Supervision
- Sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
- Assigning employees and contractors and following up on results
- Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
- Review assignments with supervisor and ensure understanding of work required
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts
- Maintain physical condition of Body Shop facility by planning and implementing a regular housekeeping program and inspecting all equipment
- Schedule maintenance on equipment
- Prepare and issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions
- Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding monitoring, reporting, labeling, applying, and disposing of work-related materials
- Observe all applicable job-related safety and health procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 2-year Body Shop management experience
- 3+ years of paint and body experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have related paint & body experience including body, paint and detail
- Proven track record of leadership skills
- Pass Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check and MVR
