The Premium Audit Reviewer performs quality review functions within the Audit QC Department to ensure that all audits meet regulatory and client-specific requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
- Primary review of all premium audits to include workers compensation, general liability, garage audits etc.
- Independently determines if each audit adequately addresses the Afirm QC Requirements, state-specific requirements, and client-specific requirements.
- Validate time charges with audit detail and/or explanations.
- Manage inventory of audits to review.
- Work to develop auditor quality by providing technical help and clear information through direct communication with the auditors during the review process, or as otherwise requested by the Afirm QC Department management.
- Meet production requirements and expectations as provided.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Insurance Premium Auditing REQUIRED
- Must have extensive knowledge of manual rules: Basic Manual, Commercial Lines Manual, State-Specific Manuals for independent bureau states
- Thorough experience regarding the usage of PAAS (Codes, Bulletins, FAQ’s, Chart of State Exceptions, etc.)
