The salary range for this job posting is $38,284.00 - $61,255.00 annually + bonus + benefits

This role will work in the Charleston, WV OR Columbus, Ohio office and report to the Assistant Vice President, Premium Audit Operations. Upon being fully trained and proficient, the role may work a hybrid schedule in either office.
JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Premium Audit Quality Revieweris responsible for analyzing completed field, phone, and/or mail audit worksheets to ensure they have been completed appropriately according to established business rules and regulatory guidelines. Areas of review include the completeness of the description of operations, proper classification assignment, correctness of payroll reconciliation and documentation of applicable state regulations and Premium Audit standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Reviews Premium Audit reports and attachments submitted by field, phone, mail and/or vendor auditors.
2. Responsible for determining if report's content includes all information as outlined in the Premium Audit Technical Manual and/or required by regulatory agencies.
3. Ensures balancing of exposures and proper documentation to support all details of a completed audit have been provided.
4. Ensures supporting financial documentation submitted along with audits completed by staff is appropriate.
5. Communicates audit review results to staff Premium Auditors and provides direction regarding any needed revisions.
6. All responsibilities must be completed on a timely basis, as assigned by management.
7. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of Premium Audit.
8. Summarizes and communicates review findings and trends to the Premium Audit Specialist and/or AVP, Premium Audit with recommendations related to individualized training needs and process efficiencies which may be gained.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Four year degree in Business or Accounting, preferred. Associates degree with accounting emphasis or applicable work experience will be considered.
• Insurance experience is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and interpret accounting records.
• Proficient in use of spreadsheets to include but not limited to Excel.
• Ability to evaluate information contained in reports and determine if the information satisfies procedures, policies, and requirements.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle time sensitive urgencies.
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and work accuracy.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to apply confidentiality and discretion.
