The Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach will be the newest hotel in the area as well as the only branded full-service hotel in Rehoboth Beach.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Laundry Attendant at our hotel, we have very high expectations for the product that you produce for our guests. We expect our team members to work well together as well as independently – depending on what is required. It is critical that our Laundry Attendants are able to effectively treat stained items prior to laundering in order to maintain the linen and terry inventory for the property. For this reason, cleanliness in our guest rooms begins with you – the mindset of our guests is that if something is stained then it is probably unclean. So, your job in diagnosing and treating our linen and terry is very important to the overall process.

JOB DUTIES

Ø Arrive to work at the properly scheduled time in the hotel approved uniform

Ø Familiarize yourself with the expectations of the brand with regards to proper cleaning, brand standards, and items of employee safety

Ø Utilize the proper cleaning chemicals [Ecolab products, Bounce, Bleach] and the proper tools [washing machines and dryers on proper settings] to execute the job

Ø Clean and maintain the laundry area and equipment – paying specific attention to the lint traps in the commercial dryers

Ø Clean the employee breakroom – table, sink/dishes, refrigerator, and garbage

Ø When laundry room shelves are full, stock the storage rooms on floors 2-7 with excess linen and terry

Ø Process and stock towels in the pool and fitness center

Ø Assist supervisor with knowing when to place Ecolab orders for pre treatment items, detergents, etc.

Ø Assist supervisor with monthly linen and terry inventory to ensure we are consistent with industry standards on PAR levels

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
