Attendance Clerk - Holbrook High School
Contract Terms: Eleven Months
Salary Classification: Classified FLSA non-exempt
Reports to: Principal
Position Objective:
Tracks attendance of all students to facilitate a safe and orderly school environment and comply with governmental funding requirements.
Performance Responsibilities:

• Contacts parents of absent students who have not called in.
• Tracks enrollment and withdrawal of students from school including summer withdrawals.
• Maintains daily attendance rosters and teacher verifications.
• Compiles statistical reports, perfect attendance certificates, and excessive absence letters.
• Reports excessive absences to the Dean of Students.
• Assists high school office as needed with phones, filing, etc. and assists in the nurse's office when needed.
• Assists registrar, school secretary, nurse, and administrators when needed.
• Maintains yearly high school attendance information required for audits. Prepares and analyzes information before presenting final copies to the auditor and clarifies the auditor's questions.
• Prepares and distributes monthly emergency pack-n-go reports for teachers.
• Assists parents with Chronic Illness documentation.
• Assists SAIS coordinator to maintain error free submissions for SAIS and STC data.
• Helps prepare and assemble yearly registration information for returning students and updates all data corrections in Infinite Campus.
• Tracks missing information and/or forms.
• Tracks bus attendance for Accounts Payable
• Assists with registration for new and returning students.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in record keeping.
• Computer literacy, database proficiency
• High School Diploma
• Post secondary classes in computer technology preferred
• Good mathematical / analytical skills
• Willingness to be trained on district related software applications including InfiniteCampus.
