TITLE:
Attendance Clerk
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
High School Diploma or verifiable G.E.D.
2.
Working knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of common office equipment and machines
3.
Strong organization and communication skills
4.
Self-motivated to work with minimal direct supervision
5.
History of dependability and good attendance
6.
Agility to relate well with students and adults
Alternative to the above qualifications as the Governing Board finds appropriate and acceptable.

School Secretary, Health Attendant, School Resource Officer
JOB GOAL:
To assist in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning school office environment.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list represents the essential tasks performed by the position. These essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. 1.
Maintain student records as required for the state reporting of attendance.
2.
Notify parents of student absence each school day.
3.
Assist the School Resource Officer with student attendance issues.
4.
Answer and route incoming telephone calls, making call notes when needed.
5.
Assist in registration of students.
6.
Schedule IEP, 504, and TAT meetings as requested.
7.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student and employee information and records.
8.
Perform office routines and practices as directed by the Principal through the Secretary.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1760 hours/220 days per year with a one-year work agreement. Salary to be established with the Board.
EVALUATION:
Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Administrative Personnel.
