Job Summary: ATM and Card Operations Specialist performs various tasks to maintain an efficient and operational ATM fleet. First point of contact for all ATM inquiries including outages, reporting, and other issues. Monitors card inventory levels, both on site and with card processor, and maintains onsite embossing equipment. Responsible for processing ATM related disputes which requires significant contact with customers by phone and email. Must have ability to make decisions independently and recognize when appropriate escalation is needed. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s Character Qualities.
Essential Functions:
• All expectations described in the job description’s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Monitor status of ATMs regularly and dispatch the appropriate vendor when needed and review incoming emails and calls to ensure customer issues and escalations are addressed timely and appropriately.
• Complete end of day ATM deposit balancing and transmit files appropriately.
• Communicate any ATM outages, interruptions, new installs, closing or service issues accordingly to internal departments and business partners that have INTRUST Bank ATMs.
• Ensure Service Level Agreements are maintained, met, and updated when appropriate.
• Coordinate daily embossing process including generating new cards, embossing plastics, logging inventory and validating cards and ensuring all actions taken under dual control.
• Process ATM disputes following operational guidelines to ensure regulatory timeframes are met and customer issues are addressed.
• Maintain log of ATM events and issues so commonalities or continued issues may be identified while also being responsible for preparing and analyzing usage and error reports for management team.
• Maintain embossing equipment, card inventory levels and supply levels, and request service or additional inventory, as needed.
• Ensure all ATM operations processes are clearly documented while maintaining ATM Teams site and have information readily available including an updated ATM list, vendor documentation, ongoing projects, etc.
• Provide support and back-up, as needed, to Card Operations department with reports, phone coverage, fraud disputes, and other daily tasks.
Education and Experience: High School or equivalent required. 3 years of banking and/or customer service experience preferred.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and actively look for ways to assist customers. Must have working knowledge and be able to use Microsoft Office products. Demonstrate high level of initiative both independently and in collaboration with others. Must have good judgement and independent decision-making skills. Displays ability to actively listen and ask appropriate questions.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Must have a current and valid Driver’s License.
Physical Demands: Extended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Working Conditions: Normal office conditions in addition to some exposure to outside weather environments. Frequent travel to onsite ATM locations, with some occasional overnight stays required.
