About the job
Our client, whom we will refer to as Confidential Company, is searching for a dynamic and experienced professional to their company in the role of Associate Vice President, Client Success, for the Healthcare vertical of the company. The Associate Vice President of Client Success at Confidential Company plays a pivotal role in enhancing client relationships and driving business growth within the medical coding technology sector. This executive position is central to managing and improving customer success and growth, ensuring high levels of adoption and satisfaction with Confidential Company's solutions.
A key responsibility includes managing client support activities, resolving complex issues, and conducting data quality reviews to ensure compliance. Additionally, the AVP is tasked with driving organic growth by exceeding targets, up-selling and cross-selling Confidential Company's solutions, and contributing to marketing efforts.

Essential functions
  • Conduct demonstrations and workshops within clients teams as required to promote solutions and adoption.
  • Actively lead and manage user workgroups in helping improve adoption of technology solutions.
  • Actively communicate and creatively engage with end users to understand feedback, problems, and areas of strength; communicate such findings for strategic change.
  • Understand change management needs for Clients managers and Providers as they progress into a technology driven environment.
  • Active participation in review calls and trouble-shooting discussions to help meet customer objectives.
  • Assist in preparation for monthly/quarterly client meetings, presentations, tracking of account plan strategies and tactics.
  • Triage incoming client questions/issues and ensure they are tracked until completion.
  • Manage routine client support activities and resolution of routine to complex client issues and requests.
  • Performs data quality/utilization reviews on outpatient encounters to ensure the clients guidelines and compliance are being adhered to .
  • Assist with implementation of each new client.
  • Provide project management support for other projects as needed.
  • Work with multi-cultural teams, including interfacing with the Delivery/Technology team in India.
  • Conduct periodic in person visits to various client offices / centers to build relationships and engage with user groups.
  • Track changes in client organization and follow key decision makers and influencers, aligning with their objectives.
  • Own growth targets and drive strategy to exceed targets.
  • Articulate support needs/budgets to achieve business goals.
  • Identify marketing and PR requirements to better service and grow existing relationships.
  • Understand the capabilities of the Confidential Company solution suite and up sell/cross sell into key relationships.
  • Map key influencers and decision makers within client organizations to help shape their digital transformation strategies.
  • Contribute to Blogs & Articles related to Coding.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and other industry leaders.
  • Represent the company to external audiences, serving as an ambassador for the organization and its values.
  • Performs other related duties to achieve the goals of the organization.


Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required

  • Demonstrated tech savviness and the ability to make informed decisions about technology investments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Must have liability insurance coverage.
  • Must be willing to travel within the US as per business demands.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of the US healthcare industry and a clear understanding of the complex revenue cycle needs of the industry.
  • Strong ethical and professional standards, with a commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Education and Experience required
  • Bachelors degree in any discipline is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing Coding operations is required.
  • Previous experience in the industry with exposure to Clinical operations is preferred.
  • AAPC Coding certification is required.
  • Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.com is required.
  • Experience with an international organization preferred.
