Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical counseling and therapy services to individuals, families, couples, and groups. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling and therapy services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Conduct crisis management interventions when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of therapy
- Complete notes by the end of each week.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Working towards a valid state licensure as a Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
- Must have a temporary license from the state of FL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment
- Flexibility to adapt therapeutic approaches based on client needs
