Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate Rehabilitation:
- Design and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for children and adolescents with developmental disorders in diverse settings, including schools, daycares, and our office.
- Collaborate with teachers, daycare staff, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care.
2. Patient-Centered Approach:
- Foster a positive and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages the growth and development of children across different settings.
- Engage with families as active participants in the therapy process.
3. Communication and Collaboration:
- Convey treatment results and patient progress effectively to relevant parties, including caregivers, teachers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
4. Documentation:
- Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, reflecting the progress and achievements of each child in various settings.
5. Environmental Management:
- Ensure a clean and welcoming therapeutic environment in schools, daycares, and the office, aligning with our commitment to a positive and friendly atmosphere.
Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in pediatric occupational therapy or related fields is required.
2. Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to build rapport with children, their families, and professionals in diverse settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
3. Passion for Pediatric Care:
- Demonstrated passion for helping children overcome challenges and achieve their developmental goals.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to pediatric therapy.
4. Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
