Associate Tax Accountant

This role stands as a vital pillar within our team, directly contributing to our Tax & Accounting operations. As a Tax Accountant at our organization, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by fostering customer relationships and collaborating closely with our dedicated association staff. What Experience can you Bring?Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or tax planning & preparation is required.CPA or Enrolled Agent designation is preferred.Must pass the Farm Credit Income Tax Certification Exam after beginning employment.Strong understanding of tax laws and accounting principles. What sets you Apart?You will really stand out if you have the following:Agricultural background.Strong computer skills specifically in Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite (Practice, GoFileRoom, UltraTax, Accounting, Virtual office, NetClient) and QuickBooks.Strong leadership qualities and demonstrated initiative.Technical experience with individual, partnership and corporate tax returns, tax research, and tax software.
