As an Associate Scientist, at this dynamic organization who stands at the forefront of testing, tracking, and disease analysis of health conditions, you will play a crucial role in the research and development of a new high-sensitivity quantitative immunoassay platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute experiments to develop and optimize assays for high-sensitivity immunoassays.
- Identify and resolve assay performance issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources, fostering a team-oriented approach.
- Summarize experimental data, draw conclusions, and maintain detailed records.
- Support feasibility studies, process development, validation, and documentation creation.
- Assist in the transfer of products and technologies to manufacturing.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing to address issues and prevent product supply interruptions.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Background in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, virology, immunology, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in immunoassay development is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of scientific principles and concepts.
- Experience in product development and experimental design.
- Familiarity with statistical experimental design and data analysis.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Working knowledge of manufacturing tools and processes.
- Familiarity with quality system regulations and processes.
- Proficient in relevant analytical tools (Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Problem Solving, etc.).
- Appropriate computer skills (e-mail, word processing, graphing software).
Education & Experience:
- Minimum BA/BS in life sciences or similar field with 5-7 years of related experience
