- Apply technical skills to complete assigned work within own work group/project team.
- Perform routine sample testing in support of process development, formulation development, release, stability, and characterization of vaccine candidates.
- Implement and develop ultra-high throughput bio-analytical platforms for various chemical, pharmaceutical, and ADME screens.
- Learn and deploy analytical methods (especially LC and MS techniques) to identify and validate binders to different type of pharmacological targets, analyze small molecules and support weekly In vitro ADME/pharmacology assays.
- Document experiments, analyze data and provide conclusions obtained from assay development and sample testing contemporaneously in either an electronic or paper notebook as directed.
- Contribute to, draft, and revise laboratory methods and reports.
- Interface with clinical sample submitters and coordinate resources for their study support, where applicable.
- Maintain up to date records as required by Pfizer policy and comply with all safety training and good laboratory practices.
- Plan daily workflow to complete the tasks/experiments outlined by the supervisor.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS).
- Computer literacy, and competency with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software.
- Demonstrate scientific proficiency, be a fast learner of new skills, have the ability to multitask and be excited to deliver in a rapid–paced, fluid environment.
- Work effectively under matrix team environment.
- Training and experience with any of the following - protein biophysics assays, In vitro ADME, pharmacology, or high-throughput bioanalysis.
- Demonstrated scientific knowledge and skills to maintain high level of performance.
Work Location Assignment: On Premise
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $54,700.00 to $91,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
