Associate Scientist

Background:

Cellicure, Inc. is a biotechnology company focusing on the development of innovative cell-based immunotherapies for the treatment of advanced solid and hematological malignancies. We are seeking highly motivated and talented Associate Scientist to join our growing team in Germantown, Maryland.

Position Summary:

The successful candidates will work with a cross-functional team and are responsible for executing a variety of laboratory experiments and analyzing the resulting data to ensure timely completion of the company’s scientific objectives. The candidates will be a result-oriented self-starter with a commitment to teamwork and reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of experimental procedures involving cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques.
• Ensure all data is appropriately archived; maintain a pristine laboratory notebook detailing all experimental work.
• Work collaboratively and effectively with other team members.
• Present experimental results at group and project meetings, write progress reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in biological science, cell/molecular biology, immunology, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a laboratory setting.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, and molecular cloning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to independently execute experiments, analyze/report/present data and collaborate with team members.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
