Why you'll love this position:
This position is in the Bureau of Environmental Epidemiology. Our Bureau's work is meaningful for keeping people healthy and safe from environmental hazards. You will assist the Environmental Surveillance team with entering environmental health data and information into our database and verifying and obtaining environmental health data and information from providers and laboratories. Investigations will involve interaction with providers, nursing staff, and other medical professionals though phone calls, email, or by fax.
What you'll do:
- Assist Environmental Surveillance team with data entry and investigation
- Obtain and verify missing data or information
- Interact with healthcare providers, nursing staff, and other medical professionals
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience (Substitutions allowed.)
- Data management and analysis skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
