Associate Programmer Analyst

THMCC Stop Loss
TMHCC Stop Loss, a $1.6 Billion division within Tokio Marine HCC, leads the way in providing medical stop loss insurance sold to employers. Medical Stop Loss provides an added layer of insurance protection to employers who choose to self-fund their health benefit plans. Self-funding can incur risks from catastrophic claims, and Medical Stop Loss insurance from Tokio Marine HCC is designed to protect employers from that risk.
Based in our Kennesaw, GA office this person will report to the Development Manager. This position follows a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the Kennesaw office.
Position Summary:
This position will be filled with a recent college graduate that wants to learn about the software development life cycle. Initial responsibility will be to work with third party ETL software to map files and import data in a format conducive for use in our systems. Once that project is complete, we plan to expose our new Associate Programmer Analyst to C# Development, SQL Server Development, SQL Reporting Services, Power BI and other exciting technologies. This is a great opportunity to get a job in a company that is willing to teach a passionate college graduate the latest technologies with no prior work experience required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with business users to identify current objectives.
- Work with Third Party ETL tool to import data into our systems.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain miscellaneous programs throughout the product life cycle.
- Create and Update Reports
- C# UI Implementation
- Create and update SQL Stored Procedures
Education, Experience & Knowledge:
Requirements
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Analysis and Design
- Experience with C# (college or internship projects are acceptable)
- Experience with Python a plus (college or internship projects are acceptable)
- Exposure to SQL
- Exposure to SQL Reporting Services / Power BI
- Exposure to Synatic Software a plus
- Exposure to UIPath a plus
Preferred
- Cloud Knowledge
Knowledge
- Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
