Purchasing Specialist
About the Company and Opportunity:
Join our team at an established construction company, proud to provide diversified construction services to our clients. We are seeking an organized, self-starting Purchasing Specialist.
Overview of the Purchasing Specialist role:
Develop a procedure for tracking of the inventory level /reorder matrixes for regular material and supplies.
Work with management on minimum and maximum stock. (CMU, I-beams, mortar, rebar etc.)
Liaise with Mechanics to source any parts they may need to fix the trucks or equipment.
- Quote any new tools or equipment that the company needs.
- Supply contract agreements.
- Manage and Supervise all Receiving Activities.
- Month End internal reporting.
Preferred Qualifications for the Purchasing Specialist role:
- Must have Advanced Excel.
Extensive Florida Sales Tax exemption experience is a plus!
- Must have a background in ERP environments - SAGE 100 experience is preferred
- Familiarity in a Construction environment is a plus!
- Must have at least 5 years of procurement/purchasing background.
