Caterpillar's North Little Rock, AR facility is hiring an Associate Procurement Specialist. This role performs analytical tasks in support of the global supply network/global purchasing category management.
Role Definition: Manages suppliers by developing improvement plans and support buyers & professionals related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to enable optimal and efficient operations.

What You Will Do
- Process requisitions and provides support for purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost, price analyses and contract/purchase order generation.
- Support customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection.
- Perform analytical and administrative tasks in support of purchasing strategic initiatives and to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop improvement plans to support buyers & professionals related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to enable optimal and efficient operations.
- Conduct analysis and maintenance of procurement and logistics data including but not limited to: purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, material rejection reports, tooling records, supplier data/measurement, inventory mgmt. engineered value chains.
What You Have
- Experience in procurement / purchasing / logistics management / supply chain roles
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator

- Eager to learn, adaptable, and flexible
- Understanding of or experience with procurement tools/systems
Additional Details
- Location: North Little Rock, Arkansas
- This role has a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days of onsite work per week in the facility and the flexibility to work offsite 2 days per week.
