The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Occupational Health and Safety Specialistto join the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team based out of North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements and monitors Occupational Health and Safety programs and processes

  • Develops and provides training and instructions

  • Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

  • Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

  • Plans and conducts Health and Safety audits

  • Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of Occupational Health and Safety programs and processes

  • Supports Health and Safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance

  • Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

  • 1+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP)

  • Experience with project management

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
