Under general supervision, the candidate must be able to write plans for the organization and development of the mission statement, philosophy, curriculum, syllabi, goals, outcomes, continual quality assessment and improvement, assist with the department budget, college and statewide reports. Faculty members shall participate in and document the development, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing education program. Faculty members must be available to direct, coach, mentor, and critique students engaged in learning activities in classes, simulated settings, and practice settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in nursing.
- Current GA RN License.
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience in a nursing education program leading to RN licensure or higher degree.
- Experience in curriculum writing.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and oral communicate skills.
- CPR certified.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Various/diverse clinical nursing work experience.
- Experience with ACEN acreditation process.
