Prudential's Contracting & Negotiating Center of Excellence (CNCOE), part of the Global Sourcing & Procurement Group (GSP), is looking for an Associate Manager of Procurement to support the delivery of strategic and best-in-class procurement support to all Prudential organizations including, but not limited to, management and negotiation of contracts, as well as leveraging third-party procurement relationships to achieve cost savings. You will partner closely with GSP Category Managers (CMs) and the Alternate Legal Service Provider (ALSP) team.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:

  • Manage the negotiation of contract terms including pricing and volume discounts.
  • Handle both routine and complex paperwork, inclusive of negotiating contracts related to purchasing solutions.
  • Partner with alternate legal service teams and Prudential's lawyers during contracting.
  • Assist with sourcing process including acquisition of IT & non-IT solutions.
  • Assist with the execution of enterprise-wide purchasing programs for the technology unit.

What you'll need:
  • Experience with procurement, managing complex acquisitions, and negotiating contracts.
  • Demonstrated capability in working in a multi-function team environment, including effective influence management.
  • Understanding of industry trends in contracting and supplier management practices.
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience.
  • Analytical skills and understanding of MS Office tools & Apttus.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $86,300.00 to $128,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
