Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance for laboratory instruments.
- Provide troubleshooting support to the area for mechanical and Computerized systems
- Establish and sustain quality systems to ensure the proper performance of the laboratory instruments.
- Provide technical support to the QC laboratory in instrument and system related issues.
- Manage projects and daily tasks following the established procedures, corporate policies and regulatory standards
- Ensure that any deviations are fully recorded and investigated.
- Ensure that laboratory controls are followed and documented at the time of performance.
- Be a Champion on safety aspects and lead the safety culture plan for Laboratories.
- Interact with regulatory agencies during inspections related to GMP and HSE (FDA, EMEA, OSHA, EPA, DEA and others).
Basic Requirements:
- BS in Chemistry
- Three years of experience in the pharmaceutical field with strong technical knowledge and background in Analytical Laboratory Instruments qualification and/or working with analytical instruments
- Knowledge of laboratory processes
Additional Skills:
- Strong knowledge and technical expertise in compliance cGMPs, laboratory practices, data integrity concepts and quality systems
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply standards to different situations and decision making by understanding site needs and applying good problem-solving skills
- Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Demonstrated learning agility and ability to think creatively; try new ideas and apply learnings
- Strong collaboration with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to take initiative, be assertive, lead by example and build high-quality relationships
- Highly flexible, adapting to changes in priorities, requirements and processes is required
- Strong compliance mindset and sound judgment
