What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you seek a variety of challenges and responsibilities around our state-of-the-art Mammalian Cell Culture facility.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain/operate specialized equipment including but not limited to; bioreactors, buffer/media preparation, autoclave and part washer systems.

  • May participate in document revision process for assigned functions.

  • Be involved in monitoring, sampling and testing, operation of pumps, sterile tube welders and aseptic connectors.

  • Complete routine protocols, perform basic troubleshooting and regularly draft and revise documents such as Manufacturing Procedures, deviation documents and SOPs.

  • Follow safety guidelines, cGMPs and ensure compliance with other regulatory requirements.

  • Recognize and accurately report problems.

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Associate Manufacturing professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

OR

Associate’s and 6 months of manufacturing experience

OR

High school/GED and 2 years of manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or Engineering

  • Manufacturing GMP regulated environment work experience

  • Biotechnology, drug substance understanding and experience working with Cell Culture, Media Preparation and/or Formulation/Filling processes

  • Knowledge in Cleaning in place. Steam in place, Cell Culture process, Equipment Preparation.

  • Experience with lab equipment and computers

  • Understand analytical methods for manufacturing area

  • Basic knowledge in analytical methods e.g. (protein concentration, pH, conductivity, LAL, Osmolality).

  • Experience working with assembling, disassembling, operating and understanding equipment per procedures.

  • Basic Knowledge and experience with computer operations, such as MS Office, and Computer Based Training (CBT) application among other computer systems.

  • Availability to work non-standard shifts that may include, nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Good documentation and organization skills and high degree of attention to details.

  • Written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
