Associate Investment Product Diligence Analyst - Generalist

Location(s):  

  • 12325 Port Grace Blvd La Vista, NE

Role Type:     Full-time.

Summary:

The Associate Investment Product Diligence Analyst Serve as a key point of contact for the Investment Product Diligence Department, supporting relationships with other Advisor Group home office teams, financial professionals, and product sponsors.  Our chosen candidate will leverage existing relationships with, and knowledge of, product sponsors to facilitate effective investment due diligence processes. This position will serve as a generalist across multiple product lines including mutual funds, exchange-traded products (ETPs), wealth management products and alternative investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing independent, objective investment guidance and timely, actionable insight to our network of financial professionals
  • Conducting initial and ongoing due diligence on an array of Investment Products to the Advisor Group investment platform
  • Creating and presenting product analysis and recommendations to the Advisor Group Product Review Committee
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field in required.

Basic Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in investment due diligence and product research, specifically related to packaged products is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of investments including mutual funds, exchange-traded products (ETPs), wealth management products and alternative Investment Products including interval funds, NAV REITs, BDCs, private placements, 1031 programs, hedge funds and private equity.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with all clients of the firm.
  • The ability to identify problems and/or issues and then propose and implement solutions with effective outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see all sides of an issue.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and track record of translating complex analytical information into actionable and financial professional-friendly messages.
  • An ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and meet goals.
  • Understanding of performance attribution and the ability to learn Morningstar analytical tools, including Morningstar Direct and other industry analytical tools.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Willingness to participate in or enrolled in the CFA, CFP and/or CAIA program.
  • Licenses: Series 7 preferred
