Associate HRIS AnalystRemote/Flex based in DC/Baltimore Area or Boston Area

Your Role: 

The Associate Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst will provide support for the HRIS customer base for, including but not limited to functional areas of: HCM, Benefits, HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Business Intelligence (BI), Onboarding. The Associate HRIS will maintain, support and enhance HR systems and processes to support business requirements for HR, benefits and payroll. This role combines excellence in customer support and technology, and partners with internal users to ensure system support for our business objectives. Additionally, this position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains data in HRIS system and updates employee files to document personnel actions
  • Assist with system programs to ensure compliance (Open Enrollment, Job Descriptions, OSHA, File Management, Talent Management, etc.).
  • Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. 10%
  • Performs system configuration, as required, to meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Assists with ad-hoc reporting for business needs.
  • Assists in Annual Open Enrollment activities such as system configuration, file feed testing, reporting.
  • Obtains and maintains basic understanding of HR functions within an organization.
  • Uses exceptional resourcefulness, planning and time management, attention to detail and process, and research skills.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, HR or Business Management and 1-3 years' experience in a Human Resource or HRIS role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge:  Adhere to confidentiality, including HIPAA and PHI, in accordance with company policy and legal requirements. Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues; and complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments. Leverages HR technical knowledge and best practices to execute HR solutions, address issues and ensure compliance.

Skills: Very strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams. Basic knowledge of relational database design and structures. 

Abilities: Excellent ability to prioritize activities. Strong ability to work independently. Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information. Previous experience working in a team environment. Strong ability to multi-task.

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of UKG/SAP or similar HRIS application administration experience preferred.

Work Environment: 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed in a temperature controlled, handicap-accessible facility without exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Generally, this job is performed in an office environment.
