The AGPA performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical assignments. This program is one of the Governor’s Disaster Preparedness Initiatives which is critical to EMSA’s basic missions.

The mission of EMSA is to prevent injuries, reduce suffering, and save lives by developing standards for and administering an effective statewide coordinated system of quality emergency medical care and disaster medical response that integrates public health, public safety, and healthcare.

Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of and/or experience in disaster emergency medical services, public health administration, and/or other health/medical background.
Knowledge of and/or experience in Standardized Emergency Management System SEMS planning.
Knowledge of and/or experience in project management.
Strong written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop curriculum and conduct training.
Experience in developing policies and procedures.
Experience in grant writing and management.
Experience in contract management.
Experience in Budget Change Concepts and Proposals.
Ability to act with flexibility and tact.
