What You Will Do
As the Associate Finance Manager, you will have a broad and dynamic role within the New Products & Innovation Finance team. This role will be assisting in the growth of the company via support of new product launches, business development as well as be responsible for the management and coordination of the financial investments & funding within AO (Advanced Operations) Endoscopy.
Business Partner
- Member of extended NPI & Innovation Finance leadership team & AO Endo leadership team that formulates and implements operational plans to help drive the overarching strat plan.
- Enable the team to analyze and constructively challenge new product business plans and financial models to identify key value drivers.
- Develop financial analysis & influence new product allocation decisions across the Endoscopy business.
- Develop & sustain relationships with Finance leaders across commercial & GQO to deliver set objectives.
- Develop innovative financial metrics for monitoring the objectives and specific achievements for new technologies & new products
- Lead & ensure due diligence on the Budget process in conjunction with Commercial & GQO Leadership
Business Controller
- Own FP&A Reporting & Projections for Endoscopy NPI - Management Reporting on key opex, capex, product cost across multiple BU's and ERPs
- Drive margin improvement initiatives on new technologies and new products.
- Ensure timely & robust new product cost estimates with disciplined communications across selling divisions.
- Own all capital expenditure requests within new platform technologies & new products for AO Endoscopy
- Own & evolve the cost to market new product cost tracker.
- Ensure compliance with statutory & policy requirements across all reporting regions.
What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree (6+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- 6+ years relevant experience ideally working in a multi-national preferably within an FDA regulated industry.
- A thorough understanding of accounting and financial principals, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis and forecasting.
- High level financial analytic development and solid business acumen.
- Have demonstrated the ability to both think strategically as well as build and execute action plans.
- Working with Wall disciplines at every level in promoting the development of services, business plans, budget management and cost control.
The ideal candidate is strongly preferred to be within a commutable distance to a major Stryker location although not required.
$83,000- $176,400 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
