The Associate Director, Pricing Strategy is responsible for building the optimal pricing strategy for pipeline assets and in-line Hematology brands within Johnson & Johnson HEM Oncology portfolio. Core aspects of the role include:
- Working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement brand pricing strategies and value-based offerings (where appropriate) for both newly launched and inline brands. This individual will interact and collaborate with Senior Brand Leaders, Strategy Customer Group Leadership Team, Legal, Healthcare Compliance (HCC), Finance, and others in the establishment of pricing and contracting policy. This position reports to the Director of HEM Oncology Pricing Strategy.
- Leading channel pricing, contracting and value-based strategies development for J&J Hem products. Serve as the brand pricing lead by synthesizing customer, industry, and driven insights and intelligence to guide the creation of product specific and franchise pricing contracting and value-based approaches. This will include leading external market research.
- Ensuring awareness of price as a key component of marketing mix at the gross and net level. Collaborating across teams to provide access scenarios with corresponding gross and net level price assumptions for current and future product's long range financial plans.
- Developing and implement strategy dashboards tracking pricing strategies and business impact. Proactively conduct changing marketplace analyses to ensure the evolution of contracting approaches in the marketplace to optimize value and business results.
- Partnering with the Value & Evidence and Strategic Customer Group organizations to design and implement value based contracting approaches that align to current and emerging policy and reimbursement initiatives and healthcare system metrics.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing or other critical thinking Major Required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Solid written, oral and presentation communications
- Understanding of the U.S. Healthcare System
- A minimum of 5 or years of work experience in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry required. Emphasis in finance, marketing, analytics, business development, or product management functions preferred.
- Experience in pricing, access, contracting or account management preferred.
- Ability to indirectly lead and influence others required; this includes account management, brand management, legal, finance, HCC and other key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of reimbursement / payment models and customer structures preferred.
- Strong financial or marketing background preferred.
- This position is based in Horsham, PA and may require travel up to 10%
