Job SummaryResponsible for initiating, planning, implementing, and assessing innovative and impactful programs and experiences with emphasis on the development and engagement of student groups and organizations.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Facilitates programs and activities that build community and support the engagement and success of all students
2. Serves as primary point of contact and advisor for registered student organizations (RSO), including coordinating the annual registration process for new and returning RSOs
3. Plans and implements RSO activities and leadership opportunities that promote the success and continuation of the organizations
4. Assists with updates to the RSO Policies and Procedures manual
5. Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises assigned staff
6. Plans and implements the Division of Student Affairs Annual Student Leadership Awards Banquet
7. Serves as a reviewer for the Public Forum request process and reserves the requested spaces
8. Serves as the primary user-administrator for Campus Labs Engage, the student organization management system
9. Coordinates use of the Owl Life student engagement software to create and publicize student programs and events, track student participation, and ensure compliance with divisional and university guidelines.
10. Provide support for other divisional priorities and initiatives beyond the scope of department, as requested
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an institution of higher education in College Student Affairs Administration, Higher Education, Public Administration, or related field
Required Experience
Seven (7) years of experience related to position, including graduate assistantships
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Preferred Experience
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of student development and frameworks
Prior experience within a comprehensive Student Activities office

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
