The Franchise Marketing team is responsible for leading strategy and maximizing effectiveness across the Oncology franchise as it relates to: Congresses, Conferences, Sponsorships, Marketing Sponsored meetings, State Society Meetings, Speaker Programs, Advocacy and Professional Relations, GPO Execution and external consulting for programming and speakers bureau. This team works collaboratively with other U.S. Commercial Oncology teams to establish and manage strategies derived from brand plans, create annual plans related to the above focus areas, and work alongside AbbVie internal functions to support flawless execution.
The Associate Director (AD), Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Marketing will lead a team that is responsible for strategy, development, and execution of hematology and solid tumor P2P education in collaboration with field teams, brand marketing, medical, and other cross-functional partners. The AD is responsible for driving P2P strategy for HCP education in alignment with brand strategy, lead delivery of speaker training, and overall executional excellence of programs. The AD will also build and coach a high performing team and drive innovative capabilities to enhance the educational experience of HCPs.
Major Responsibilities:
Drive P2P strategy-including content development-for HCP education in alignment with brand strategy and collaboration with key internal/external stakeholders
Develop innovative content and tactics to enhance the educational experience of HCPs
Lead speaker faculty optimization, including training and coaching
Ensure seamless speaker program execution across stakeholder communication and logistics management
Socialize and optimize P2P performance through ongoing KPI management
Champion and revise processes necessary to differentiate from a performance and customer-facing perspective
Guide, manage, and support direct report responsibilities where needed and grow and develop talent
Responsible for overall budget to ensure appropriate funding to deliver on brand strategy
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
7 years of relevant experience (peer-to-peer, marketing, medical education agency)
Track record of successful team leadership and agency relations
Strong organizational, project management, and team coordination skills
Solid business acumen
Excellent communication and facilitation skill to influence without authority
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred:
Knowledge of AbbVie policies, procedures, culture, and marketing competencies
Successful team leadership experience in field sales or marketing
Knowledge and experience in Oncology markets
Continuous change improvement and/or change management skills
