They are on a search for a Nursing Director for their PCU/ICU department.

 

Job Description

• You will be the first line manager designated for this specific nursing area, its patient population, and assigned staff and you will have 24 hour responsibility for this unit’s activity.
• You will plan, coordinate, direct the fiscal, personnel and patient care activities to assure the standards of care and practice are met as appropriate for the patient care needs and the age of the patient in as cost effective manner as possible.
• You will be responsible for the integration of the nursing area into the overall functioning of the organisation

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Nursing License or a multistate License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from American Heart Association.
• Supervisory experience in Nursing.
• Bachelor's/Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
